In honor of L. Ron Hubbard’s Birthday 1993
Mr. David Miscavige opened the 1993 birthday event to a capacity gathering at the spiritual mecca of the Scientology religion, the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida.
Mr. David Miscavige first gave a summary of the international tributes and proclamations bestowed upon L. Ron Hubbard over the previous twelve months. He then introduced a riveting account of Mr. Hubbard’s path to discovery of Dianetics and Scientology.
Tonight we honor mankind’s greatest friend—L. Ron Hubbard.
And it is a far broader audience than just our fellow Scientologists who salute L. Ron Hubbard on his birthday. State governors, mayors and other officials and people from all over the world acknowledge Mr. Hubbard with special proclamations, keys to their cities and declarations of “L. Ron Hubbard Day” in their towns and communities.
And this year, once again, L. Ron Hubbard received more awards on his birthday than ever in history.
In the United States alone, proclamations and awards were received from every area of the country. And here you can see some of those received from the Northeast; the Southeast; the Midwest; and the Western United States.
