Opening Address
In honor of L. Ron Hubbard’s Birthday 1994
In 1974, the total number of countries delivering Scientology was 19.
This year alone, we opened 22 countries and today, more than 100 nations now deliver Dianetics and Scientology technology.
Scientologists take responsibility for their environment. We have the technology to solve the problems man faces.
One group of such individuals decided to take responsibility for the war-torn Balkan states and tonight it is my pleasure to announce our newest group just opened in Serbia.
Twenty years ago, there were a total of 223 Scientology churches, missions and groups. Today, there are over 1,300.
For 43 years, Albania was under the thumb of totalitarian rule. But the light of freedom has now begun to glow in that country. Scientology has now been recognized and registered as a bona fide church in Albania.
In an L. Ron Hubbard issue entitled “Our Role in the World,” he stated the following:
“There are three factors in world peace—the U.S., Russia and our technology.”
